On Sunday 24 March 2024, the 15th edition of the Eneco Clean Beach Cup took place. At our main location in Koksijde-Oostduinkerke and and at the 17 sublocations, a massive number of people once again came together to tackle the waste problem on our beaches and, above all, to raise awareness. Because with almost 3700kg of waste removed from the beaches, this year again we did more than our bit for a cleaner planet. There was a lot of wind, but fortunately also a good dose of sunshine to encourage all the helping hands. All of you together made it another unforgettable edition.
On to 2025 for the 16th edition of the Eneco Clean Beach Cup. We are ready to make it another record edition!
A cleanup campaign more than needed if we want to give our marine wildlife a chance.
But Eneco Clean Beach Cups mission goes beyond just one action. Being an NGO, we strive each day to reach long-term solutions through open dialogue and international collaborations. Accessible and for everyone.

Together, we are taking care of 2 500 m²
Nope, this time we're not referring to a giant pile of waste we've collected. Quite the opposite, we have some fantastic news for nature! Together with The Click and Natuurpunt, we will be planting no less than 2 500 m² of brand new forest on the 11th of November! And that's thanks to you!
Met Eneco Clean Beach Cup halen we elk jaar tonnen afval van de Belgische en Nederlandse stranden. Cruciaal voor de dieren en de surfers die er vele uren doorbrengen. Dit jaar ruimden we in een gezamenlijke effort opnieuw ruim 5 000kg afval op. Het grootste deel daarvan recycleren we samen met Renewi, maar dit jaar hielden we wat afval aan de kant voor een speciaal project…

Zo willen we nog meer mensen betrekken bij de meer dan nodige strandschoonmaakactie die we nog steeds elk jaar op de eerste zondag van de lente laten doorgaan.
